Bibs 'n' Bobs | A touch of Bunting Baby

You lot know how much I love to discover new upcoming quirky shops with something a little bit different to offer. Well a dear family friend of mine has recently taken the plunge and started her own little company to that exact description.

Bibs ‘n’ Bobs  spend their time crafting beautiful handmade creations aimed predominately at mummy’s or friends and family of mummy’s & babies - however if you don’t fit that category quite yet don’t click away, this little slice of homemade heaven caters for pretty much everyone.

From handmade bibs, to bunting, pillows and aprons you’re guaranteed to find the perfect gift or treat for yourself/your baby. Everything is made to order and personalisation is what makes this shop so special. Being a little older (although some might say I require a bib, I’m constantly missing my mouth), Bibs ‘n’ Bobs kindly sent me over this gorgeous bunting to share with you lovelies...

Absolutely perfect for a garden party, celebrating a birthday or to just simply hang up in your bedroom (aka what I’m doing!). Of course, if you're not looking for something personalised you can choose anything from their facebook page album, all items are labelled up with prices and sizes/age groups. 

I love the vintage feel of mine, it fits in perfectly with my bedroom and I particularly love it against my fairy lights on my bed post :)

If this little shop tickles your pickle just select a theme from the samples shown on their facebook page and send them your chosen name via their page! Each triangular flag measures 17cm x 17cm (approx) and bunting will be supplied with tie ends of 35cm each. All Personal bunting is £15.00 for up to a six letter name, then £1.00 for every additional letter. e.g AVA = £15.00 CHARLIE (£15.00 + £1.00) = £16.00

I’m definitely going to be placing a few orders with them for friends and family, it’s such a lovely idea :)

Each piece is handmade, and completely unique. I source lots of lovely fabrics and buttons to ensure that each design is different in it's own little way. Although a few pieces are made from the same fabric, they will all be limited edition as when the fabric is gone, it's gone! I have labelled each item with rough dimensions, as they all vary slightly in size. I'm currently using the phone pouch for my iPhone 4S, and my daily lipstick and concealer in a make-up pouch! I think they make the perfect Christmas gifts and bring a bit of sparkle to your handbag :)

Feeling a bit Floral | Crown & Glory

About a year ago, I discovered a beautiful little shop on the internet. Crown & Glory. I am a sucker for any pretty hair accessory, so when I came across this brand I was super duper happy. From turbans to crowns; each piece is individually handmade by the lovely Sophie, & a lot of the pieces are made to order, so you’re guaranteed an original item, every time. Something about that just makes it extra special doesn’t it? 

Having built up a rather large collection of her pieces over the last year, I thought I would show you my most recent purchase:

I bought the Marina - Fuschia Daisy Bandeau & I am absolutely in love. It’s such a beautifully delicate piece, which makes such a bold statement. I picked this one up in the up to 50% off sale and the little beauty was only £9! Amazing right. The whole range is so reasonably priced; and fills what I believe is a huge gap in the accessories market. Yes, there are heaps of shops that cater for hair accessories, but I am yet to find one that has such intricate detail, at such a fantastic price. There is a vast variety of items available, yet each piece is so wonderfully put together, with such care & attention. Plus, the customer service is incredible; always a speedy and ridiculously friendly response. And even better, Crown & Glory can even make up your own individual piece; so if you had an idea that wasn’t quite like what is available on the website, they’ll more than likely be able to cater for your needs. 

I just love everything about this wonderful little spot on the web.
