So...is anyone else totally into Hannah, er, I mean Miley Cyrus’s style transformation in 2012? Girl is on FIRE! I gotta admit, my NYE ensemble was not so subliminally inspired by her look as of late, and I spent allllllllllll night just noddin’ my head like yeah, movin’ my hips like yeah. (LOLz.) I love the proportions of this ensemble; it’s that delicate balance of flashes of skin mixed with demure details that make it oh-so-sexy. Bare shoulder with a turtleneck. Exposed midriff with a high waisted midi-skirt. And the unexpected element of flat-soled creepers give me just the edge I wanted. I remember my cousin rocked creepers all throughout the 90’s...and she was pretty bitchin’. (I mean she had a mohawk at one point...a PINK one.) Now when I wear mine, I totally borrow some of that angsty, punk rock attitude for myself. And I kinda like it...if you ever want to feel like a bada$$ bitch, wear creepers. Simple. As. That.
